2008.6 ... Seven of my labels (_SUN thru _SAT) are specifically for planning my week. I'd really like to see, at a glance, how many tasks I have left to do for a certain day. Right now, I have to manipulate the "unread" flag in a unwholesome way to achieve this.
Failing that, how about allowing me choose between "show unread count" and "show starred count".

What's the point of starring things (i.e. making deliberate note to self: this is important) if the UI then does not show how many.

For implementing GTD you might try out this web-based application:
You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.
As with the last update, now you can add or invite Contacts, and share your Projects and Contexts with them.
