为什么“欢跃”要建立在“扣肉”上?因为在某个时代,幸福基于效率。
要自发去做一件事情,还想要坚持,而回报并非立等可取------就会遇到效率的诘问:这样做有意义吗?
- 关于方法
我曾经羡慕松永真理,有20年处理用户来信的经历。也羡慕高木直子,以搬家工人的身份,进入不同的陌生人家庭近距观察。有的时候我还希望自己是售货员,看看消费者到底是如何挑剔,如何冲动。
不大可能这么做的时候,追踪Blog、BBS成为我可行的选择。 - 关于目的
首先我想这是我要补习的必修课。每个人对事物的评价都只基于自己的经验、感觉------设计师亦不能免。在为别人创造产品的过程中,我需要建构与以往不同体系的经验。
其次是培养同理心。最大的收获并不是文章本身,而是在观察过程中得到的一些启示-----或许启示也不重要,重要的是了解别人看待问题的方法------又或许方法也不重要,我试图了解他们想法的诚意才重要 :P
最后,或许这也是定性分析用户的途径之一吧。
爱建立在意志之上,意志总要有信仰的支撑。所以追问意义也并非全无意义。一个简便的方法是通过别人,尤其是功成名就的人来进行印证:
- Judy McGrath:她能一直在“某件事上非常……走运,那就是总能遇见好心人”,这归功于她“普通人的感悟力”。
- 致翔:A.O.史密斯的中国设计师,跟随安装工入户观察。
- 好孩子集团的天线,是美国市场基层销售人员。
- 易造的设计师,假扮顾客和售货员聊天。
- 尼尔森:成为一个可用性专家:要达到可用性研究的最高境界,要求有观察在不同背景下不同类型用户的多年经验……
如果我做了这些无聊的事情------我是指用大写的话语来证明意义的存在------和我同样想法的人,或许就可以不再去重复了吧。
